"Bare Winter Vineyards III"

The California vineyards of late January.  This particular vineyard has vine stalks that are very mature are essentially tree-like stumps.  The small excess vine material has been trimmed away leaving only the woody stalks. The order and symmetry of the the vines along with the randomly spaced oak trees creates a very pleasant image. In this color photo, you can see how the rains of the California winters are making the vineyards green with new growth.
