A decent swell hit Southern California the weekend of Dec. 12th.  A group of about five surfers were out at Coal Oil Point just north of Isla Vista near the UCSB campus.  Some of the waves rolling in were easily ten feet high with some even bigger.  This guy dropped into a pretty big wave.  If I remember correctly, he rode it a pretty long time.
