A decent swell hit Southern California the weekend of Dec. 12th.  A group of about five surfers were out at Coal Oil Point just north of Isla Vista near the UCSB campus.  Some of the waves rolling in were easily ten feet high with some even bigger.  This is a pretty big wave that set up far outsite and this guy got caught a bit off-guard.
