A decent swell hit Southern California the weekend of Dec. 12th.  A group of about five surfers were out at Coal Oil Point just north of Isla Vista near the UCSB campus.  Some of the waves rolling in were easily ten feet high with some even bigger.  I thought this was kind of a cool photo to show how big some of the waves were.  This guy was in the process of duck-diving under the wave when I took this picture.
