A pretty mellow surf day at Sand's Beach in Goleta, California near the campus of UCSB.  The surf on this early winter day was only about waist to chest high, but these guys got a few good rides so I snapped a couple pictures.  I like this shot as a surfer is heading out, a nice peak comes in with no one on it.  You can see a very faint Santa Cruz Island in the background.
