A pretty mellow surf day at Sand's Beach in Goleta, California near the campus of UCSB.  The surf on this early winter day was only about waist to chest high, but these guys got a few good rides so I snapped a couple pictures.  This is a cool shot of the guy just getting started down the line, but he is camouflaged by the water breaking around him.
